Features from the Lime ::
Limegreen Tangerine Reborn!

After three years, I felt it was time for a refresh of the Limegreen Tangerine web site! I had to ask myself, why change a good thing? Well, it was time to implement some of the things that I have learned over the past few years and incorporate them in a new design, yet keeping successful elements from the previous version. So, enjoy version 3 of my personal web site and feel free to email me your comments on the refresh! Also, let me know of any broken links, as there are always a few that slip past me!

Limegreen Tangerine Live!

Limegreen Tangerine has taken over the internet audio 'airwaves'. Started in September of 2003, Matthew and I have been hosting a 2 hour internet radio show on RGIN - Radio Gay International Network every Monday night! Check the schedule on RGIN and be sure to listen to the previous week's show archive if you can't make the date! Join us via online chat, web cams and/or call us with a toll free phone number that we be provided during the show!

Left To My Own Devices ::
Everybody Loves A Happy Ending
To my delight, after a near 15 year breakup of Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal of Tears For Fears, they have mended their differences and have come back together to release a unbelievable new album that must not be missed by any music fan! This is truly the most exciting album of this decade for me! Be sure to check it out!

Slap me a high 'G5'
Yes, Apple had me on my knees again this past year when they released their newest super computer the G5! I could not wait a second longer after the date is was released and it has changed my world in a big way. Be sure to check out the specs on this beast! I'm sure you'll be ordering yours very soon! (Don't forget to pick up the 23" cinema display too, it's the prettiest thing on Earth!)

Creative Services ::

Did you know that I never leave the house? That's because I don't have to! Since August 2000, I've been working for myself as a full time freelance designer. There is nothing better then being your own boss and doing what you love... computers and design.

Lemons and Limes
Hey boys and girls... how about some relevant DVD releases that I have recently run across with my spending addiction.

Tears For Fear Collection DVD - Last month Tears For Fears was finally released on a shiny disc. This DVD is set a very low price around $8 with 4 videos to their 80's hits including Shout and Everybody Wants To Rule The World.

Queer As Folk Season 3 box set - It took me a while to accept the US version of this show after believing the UK version was absolutely perfect. However, I am really enjoying the series, now in it's third season. I had to do some catching up, therefore I recommend these DVDs. They are well worth their high price tag!

Golden Girls - The Complete First Season should be released somewhere between 2004 and 2014 (margin of estimate error of 10 years)
Bea Everywhere ::

Going To Great Lengths (for a once in a lifetime opportunity)

Recently, Bea performed in her home town of Los Angeles, California for the South Bay Conservatory Student Scholarship Fund. Normally, I thought this would be just another normal performance that would not be picked up much from Bea fans. Boy, was I wrong! Not only did fans of Bea come to see her from the four corners of California, but also the country! Though I did not get to go myself, I was able to live vicariously through a couple of people who had contacted me and kept in touch over the past few month's on their plans and experiences to see Bea! Not only did I learn a lot from them, but also made some new friends who share just as much passion for Bea.

America's favorite Golden Girl of comedy is coming to Saugatuck, MI and you're invited! May 22-23, 2004

  America's favorite Golden Girl of comedy is coming to Saugatuck, MI and you're invited!

Bea Arthur performs her Broadway and London hit show Just Between Friends with Billy Goldenberg at the piano.

A benefit for Mason Street Warehouse, an uptown theatre in downtown Saugatuck.

I do plan on going to this event, so let me know if you will be able to make this event... always love meeting new Bea fans!!! I have been to Saugatuck before, it's a fantastic place (especially for us gay fans!) Email me at kevin@beatricearthur.com today and we'll be sure to meet up!

Bea's still got it!
If you missed the awards show, you should be able to catch it again soon on TV Land, as they tend to reply the awards quite a bit within the first few weeks of the premiere! So check your local listings.

Bea appeared in the second half of the show with a five minute skit with Sally Struthers, Charlotte Rae, Katherine Helmond and Abe Vigoda doing a spoof of Sex in the City... well... a few years later!

I was so happy to see Bea play such a fun-filled roll in this. It just goes to show that there is no stopping this near 81 year old women from any comedic roll these days. I hope that you all laughed along as much as I did! Below are some screen shots from this event which first aired on March 17th, 2004 on TV Land.

How old is Bea did you say? ::

There has been a lot of questions concerning Bea's actual age. I believe this happened from misprints on web pages and magazine stories. But, it is true that Bea's birthday is May 13th, 1923. This means Bea will be turning 81 years young in just a month. Bea sure to drop your thoughts and comments at the message board on Bea relentless work at the age where most people would be well into their retirement ::

Bea Linked ::

Bea Arthur In The Lime Light :: well ,of course, I have to mention my own fan site... again! I have recently updated the interface graphics (subtle, but true).

... one more thing! Thanks to the great guys at JRM Services for keeping an eye for me, BeatriceArthur.com is now available at BeaArthur.com, as well!

BeaBoard - Bea Arthur discussion board :: for more current news on Bea Arthur, check out the newly released message board. It has been an extremely valuable resource of information for Bea's fans. Join the discussion today!

Golden Girls UK :: simply the best, overall, web site dedicated to the Golden Girls. Great job, Sam!

Rue McClanahan :: the most elaborate fan site of Rue McClanahan on the web. Rue McClanahan has been Bea's partner in crime over the years in both Maude and the Golden Girls. Great job, Katie!

Thanks for being interested in Limegreen Tangerine and/or Bea Arthur in the Lime Light web sites. Please check back once in while for I have some fun things up my sleeve for both web sites!

Take care,
Kev!
